Analog measured values are indicated, evaluated and calculated by the field indicator. With the integrated loop power supply two-wire sensors can be powered. The universal inputs enable the connection of current, voltage, RTDs and TCs. Limit values can be monitored and relays can be switched. Via analog outputs process signals can be forwarded. The integrated application package “differential pressure” allows the quick and easy commissioning for differential pressure applications.

The RIA46 field meter exhibits a display, analog inputs for process and status signals, analog and digital outputs, and an interface for configuration. Connected sensors can be powered by the integrated LPS. All measured and calculated values are available as a signal source for display, outputs, relays and the interface.

Field of application
For solids and semi-solids analysis, the Raman Rxn-20 probe reigns supreme. Its state-of-the-art, stainless-steel probe design produces representative, focus-free, quantitative Raman measurements. The Rxn-20 probe illuminates a large surface area and eliminates the need to align the probe for surface roughness. It provides heterogenous solids sampling via volumetric analysis, which is highly useful for measuring tablets, capsules, food solids, and polymer beads.

Chemicals: final product quality, blend impurities, crystallinity, raw materialsPolymers: extruded pellet quality, crystallinity, density, raw materialsPharmaceutical: crystallinity, polymorphism, granulation, blend uniformity, content uniformity, coating, tabletingFood & Beverage: quality of dairy solids, meat and fish composition

Benefits
Non-contact measurement of heterogeneous solids for better representationImproved process control and efficiency through faster measurementsNon-destructive measurements from a distanceReproducible samplingSampling flexibility with a variety of focus-free and immersion Rxn-20 accessory opticsNo need to align probe for surface roughnessSurface and deep layer (volumetric) analysis
